انتخاب جنابعالی به عنوان چهل و پنجمین رییس جمهوری ایالات متحده آمریکا را به شما تبریک می گویم و برایتان در سمت ریاست جمهوری برای تحقق صلح، شادمانی و رفاه برای مردم آمریکا آرزوی موفقیت دارم.
ازاین فرصت استفاده می کنم تا توجه شما را به مسائلی که اهمیت حیاتی و مهم برای آینده ملت ایران و ارتباط آنها با جهان آزاد و به ویژه ایالات متحده آمریکا دارد را جلب کنم.
امروز مردم ایران، خاورمیانه و جهان آزاد با خطراتی که اسلام رادیکال به همراه خود دارد مواجه هستند. پدیده ای که پیامد اندیشه خمیسنیم که با انقلاب اسلامی وی در سال ۱۳۵۷ در ایران به وجود آمد. از همان روزهای نخست استقرار در ایران، رهبران جمهوری اسلامی روش های خود را برای صدور ایدئولوژی اسلام سیاسی خمینی به دیگر نقاط جهان بکار گرفتند. ایدئولوژی واپسگرایی که چون سرطان در دیگر نقاط جهان: از خاورمیانه تا آسیا، آفریقا وحتی تا اروپا و آمریکا ریشه دوانیده است.
رهبران جمهوری اسلامی و سرسپردگانشان از روش های خشونت آمیز چون ترور، کشتار کنشگران سیاسی، اعدام های دسته جمعی، جنایت علیه بشریت، تروریسم سایبری، جنگ های نیابتی، گروگان گیری، پول شویی و همچنین قاچاق مواد مخدر و اسلحه برای پیشبرد اهداف خود استفاده کردند که پیامد آن بی ثباتی و درگیری و جنگ در سطح جهانی بوده است.
پانزده ماه پیش، شورای ملی ایران برای انتخابات آزاد، پشتیبانی مشروط خود را رسما از برجام برای جلوگیری از وقوع جنگ و جلوگیری از دستیابی حکومت اسلامی ایران به سلاح هسته ای اعلام کرد. با این حال، در همان زمان هشدار دادیم باور به اینکه با سیاست تعامل بتوان رفتار جمهوری اسلامی را تعدیل کرد تنها یک توهم و خیالی باطل است. مگر اینکه مفاد این توافق نامه بطور آشکار و قوی جمهوری اسلامی را در مقابل میل به افزایش سرکوب داخلی و توسعه سیاست های هژمونی و سلطه طلبانه خارجی محدود نماید.
به همین دلیل ما خواهان بکارگیری تدابیر امنیتی برای آزاد شدن میلیاردها دلار پس از لغو سری تحریم ها شدیم تا نهادهای مربوطه اطمینان حاصل کنند که جمهوری اسلامی از این پول ها همچنان برای سرکوب مردم ایران و گسترش تروریسم، ایجاد و بسط جنگ های نیابتی در منطقه هزینه نمی کند.
جناب رییس جمهور منتخب،
اکثریت به قریب مردم ایران خواهان همکاری با جهان آزاد و مشارکت در ارزش های جهانی همانا انسان گرایی و دمکراسی هستند. مبارزات روزانه زنان در برابر ساختار قانونی این حکومت که زن را شهروند درجه دوم می شناسد، نمونه ای بارز از انگیزه ملت ایران برای آزادی است. مردم ایران همچنان مبارزه خود را برای دستیابی به برابری با وجود سرکوب های وحشیانه حکومتی ادامه می دهند.
مبارزه ما نه با دین است و نه نبرد تمدن ها است. مبارزه ما در برابر ضد ارزش های اسلامی رادیکال و واپسگرایانه است. در هر شرایطی، برای اعمال تغییرات بنیادین در حکومت ایران، راه حل نه مواجهه نظامی و جنگ با ایران و نه حفظ وضع موجود است. تنها راهکار بنیادین برای برون رفت از بن بست کنونی برای شکست اسلام سیاسی، به رسمیت شناختن اراده ملی مردم ایران و پشتیبانی از خواست و شوق آنها برای دستیابی به دمکراسی است، که در نهایت فقط، و یکبار برای همیشه با گفتمان رسمی و راستین با نیروهای سکولار-دمکراتیک ایرانی است.
این نکته بسیار مهم و حائز اهمیت را می بایست دریابیم که تنها راهکار کارساز برای هرگونه تغییر سیاسی در ایران، فرایندی است که می بایست تنها به دست مردم ایران صورت پذیرد. پشتیبانی های سیاسی و مینوی جهان آزاد از ملت ایران می تواند سهم بزرگ، مثبت و موثری در گذار به دور از خشونت به یک حکومت و دولت سکولار-دمکرات از طریق برگزاری انتخابات آزاد، سالم و عادلانه در ایران باشد.
شورای ملی ایران برای انتخابات آزاد امیدوار است دولت شما آرمان های ملت ایران را در خط مشی سیاست خارجه خود در نظر بگیرد و همچنین با نیروهای سکولار-دمکرات ایرانی گفتگو داشته باشد، از مبارزات مدنی هم میهنانم برای دستیابی به صلح، آزادی و دمکراسی پشتیبانی کند.

Dear Mr. President-Elect,
I have the pleasure of extending my congratulations on your election as the 45th President of the United States of America, and my best wishes for the success of your Presidency to bring, peace, happiness, and prosperity for the American people.
I would like to take this opportunity to bring to your attention issues that are of vital importance for the future of the Iranian people and their relationship with the United States in particular, and the international community at large.
Today, the Iranian people, the Middle-East and the free world face an existential threat from radical Islam, which is a direct by-product of “Khomeinism” and its revolution in Iran in 1979. Ever since, the leaders of the Islamic Republic have methodically executed their plan of exporting Khomeini’s ideology of political Islam. This regressive ideology has spread like a cancer across the globe: from the Middle East to Asia and Africa, and even to Europe and the Americas.
To further their aims, the leaders of the Islamic Republic and their henchmen have used terrorism, political assassinations, mass executions, crimes against humanity, cyber terrorism, proxy wars, hostage taking, money laundering, as well as arms and drug trafficking, which has resulted in regional and global destabilization and conflicts.
Fifteen months ago, the Iran National Council for Free Elections declared our conditional support for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the nuclear program, primarily to avert the risk of war and prevent the theocratic regime from obtaining a nuclear weapon. However, at the time we warned that it is an illusion to think that the engagement policy could moderate the behavior of the Islamic Republic, and that unless the provisions of the agreement are enforced unequivocally, the agreement would indeed embolden the regime, to both increase its oppression at home and its hegemonic policies abroad.
That is why we asked that safeguards be implemented, so as to ensure that the regime cannot use the billions of dollars that the lifting of sanctions would release, to finance oppression and terrorism, and to sow regional conflicts and proxy wars.
Mr. President-Elect,
The overwhelming majority of the Iranian people wish to be partners with the free world and participate in its values of humanism and democracy. This urge for freedom is best exemplified by the daily struggles of Iranian women who are treated as second-class citizens. They continue to demonstrate their desire for equality, despite the continuous brutal oppression that is waged upon them.
Our struggle is not about religions, nor is it a war of civilizations. We are engaged in a struggle of values against those advanced by radical Islam. In any event the solution is neither war, nor maintaining the status quo. The best policy for defeating political Islam is to support the democratic desire of the Iranian people: to engage, once and for all, in a true dialogue with the secular and democratic forces.
It is important to recognize and acknowledge that the only effective and legitimate form of political change in Iran, is a process implemented by and at the hands of the Iranian people. Moral and political support from the free world for the vast majority of Iranians, can only be regarded as a positive contribution to a swift, non-violent transition to a secular and democratic government through free and fair elections in Iran.
The Iran National Council for Free Elections hopes that your administration will bear in mind the aspiration of the Iranian people and engage the secular democratic forces, providing support for the struggle of my fellow compatriots for peace, freedom, and democracy.
